What Should I Buy in Gatlinburg, TN?

There are a lot of specialty shops in Gatlinburg!  
Things you can't find just anywhere.

Below is a list of some of the best shops and stores, no matter if you are Christmas shopping or buying gifts or souvenirs, there is something for everyone.  Most are downtown on the strip, but some you will find some in malls, villages and other areas.

1.) Novus Candela Bath & Crafts, 600 Glades Rd., Suite 4, Gatlinburg

 If you love shiny objects and things that smell good, this is your happy place. This Arts and Crafts Community gift shop has handmade candles, handmade quilts, gemstones, essential oils, and goat milk soaps and lotions, just to name a few.

2.) Spice and Tea Exchange, 634 Parkway, #23, Gatlinburg

A tea and spice lover's dream come true.  Beautiful teas and spices, and flavored sugars for cooking, relaxing and gift giving. Also oils and vinegars and really unique combinations with tempting samples available.

3.) Buckboard Too, 612 Parkway, Gatlinburg

Fun store with collectibles and nostalgia for everything you can imagine! Whether it Star Wars, Elvis, Coca Cola, Marilyn, Bob Ross, Marvel or the Walking Dead, it's probably here waiting to be discovered.

4.) Tennessee Homemade Wines, 643 Parkway, Gatlinburg

Unique, locally crafted, and highly rated wines that you can try for free.  The reviews this place gets are pretty impressive! Lots of flavors, some say the best they've ever tasted. 

5.) Holly & Willow's Pet Barn, 170 Glades Rd. Suite 30, Gatlinburg

More than collars and leashes. You'll find bandanas, bow ties, dresses, blankets, coats, strollers, and other unique, fun pet supplies for dogs and cats.

6.) The Jewelry Spot, (aka The Rock Spot) 849 Glades Rd., Gatlinburg

If words like amethyst, crystals, Moroccan Geode Quartz, and gemstones get you excited, you will love this place that gets wonderful reviews in the Arts & Crafts Community of Gatlinburg. Handcrafted and custom designed jewelry.

7.) The Celtic Shop, 651 Parkway, #103, Gatlinburg

This unique gift shop filled with Irish and Scottish treaures, Celtic crosses, dragons and fairies!  Incense and essential oils are also available here.

8.) Savannah Bee Company, 558 Parkway, (next to Anakeesta) Gatlinburg

Oh honey!! There is a Mead Bar, Honey Bar, and a Kid's area.  Royal jelly, soaps, body butters, specialty honeys, beeswax lip balm, soy lotion candles, gifts, sauces. Yum.

9.) Fowler's Clay Works, 1402 E. Parkway, Gatlinburg

Take a pottery class, or you can just watch, and purchase some handcrafted authentic treasures from real Smoky Mountain artisans. Pottery studio and gallery.

10.) The Original Smoky Mountain Taffy Logs, 708 Parkway, Gatlinburg

Gatlinburg is known for it's taffy, fudge and candy shops.  Opened in 1973, using a machine from the 1940's, this place is family run and been doing saltwater taffy for a long time. Watching them make it is half the fun! And they have more yummy stuff other than just taffy.

11.) Smoky Mountain Art, 968 Parkway, Gatlinburg

This is an art gallery featuring local artisans and craftspeople in the area that create original works of all sorts.  If you want authentic, handcrafted, one of a kind mountain art, this is the place.  Great reviews, and friendly artists.  Works by sculptors, carvers, photographers, potters and painters.

12.) The Hemp Store, 611 Parkway, Suite F5, Gatlinburg

This little shop is not a newcomer to Gatlinburg, it's been around for over 25 years.  They sell all hemp related products including clothing, hemp lotions, posters, books, jewelry, incense, sunglasses,  purses, hemp twine and a full smoke shop in the back. 

13.) Wood Signs of Gatlinburg, 715 Parkway, Gatlinburg

These are handmade, handcrafted beautiful wooden signs that last for many years. Have one custom made and always have a happy reminder of your trip to the Smoky Mountains.  Great selection, lots of creative ideas, and happy customer reviews.

 

14.) Trunk of Man, 651 Parkway, #107, Gatlinburg

Got a beard or know someone who does?  This place is a hidden gem. Sample beard oils, get some beard wash, hand salve for working hands, beard care and grooming products, apparel and accessories for men. Oh, yeah and find out what a beard bar is.

15.) The Soft Shirt Place, 611 Parkway, F-01, Gatlinburg

What should you buy in Gatlinburg was the question....these shirts will make you feel good long after your visit here, and not only are they comfy t's but they are pretty cute and funny too! Great custom t-shirts and sweatshirts for a souvenir or gift idea.
