Where is the best place to get a steak in Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg

or Sevierville? What are the best steakhouses?

Here is my list of the top steak restaurants and steakhouses in Sevierville, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, for combined customer satisfaction with highest food safety inspection scores in order, with 1-2-3 tying for 1st place:

1.     Cherokee Grill & Steakhouse, Gatlinburg
2.    Gaucho Urbano Brazilian Steakhouse, Pigeon Forge

3.    Local Goat, Pigeon Forge
4.    Alamo Steakhouse, Gatlinburg location

5.    Texas Roadhouse, Pigeon Forge location
6.    Chesapeake's, Gatlinburg
7.    Logan's Roadhouse, Sevierville

8.    Howard's Steakhouse, Gatlinburg

9.    The Peddler, Gatlinburg

You won't find a better list I researched all area restaurants without any preconceived notions, and this is what I looked at:

1.)  The cleanest restaurants with the highest food service inspection scores by the Tennessee Department of Health over the last year.

2.) The steakhouses and restaurants with the highest customer satisfaction reviews.

I combined these together to give you a blended result of the Best of the Best!

These restaurants came out on top overall.

Opened in 1975, it's been a favorite of locals and visitors ever since.  It sits right across from the Ober Gatlinburg entrance on the Gatlinburg Parkway.

3.) Local Goat

2167 Parkway, Pigeon Forge, TN   865-366-3035

Local Goat is 3 in the Top 3 on my list because ever since it opened in 2016, it has been a local's and visitor's favorite, while scoring consistently high on food safety inspections.

The Local Goat describes themselves as a "scratch kitchen specializing in locally sourced and sustainable foods."  It's a more casual atmosphere with a full bar and TVs in different areas.  While it's not a typical steakhouse, you can get a beautiful steak dinner here.

You can also get a full selection of drinks from craft beer, cocktails, wine, bourbon, tequila, you name it.

The beloved original restaurant was burned to the ground during the infamous 2016 wildfires, but happily, it has since been rebuilt, closely to its original design.  The Alamo sits on a rippling creek, and and the atmosphere is casual-upscale, southwest, romantic.

Wine, Liquor, & beer are also served

Chesapeake's made its Gatlinburg location debut in 2019.  It makes my list for best places to get a steak around Gatlinburg because, while it serves a huge menu of decadent seafood, Im told the steaks - Filet minon, New York Strip, and Ribeyes - are just as wonderful.  High food safety scores along with rave reviews, gets this place a spot on my list.

If you are having trouble deciding between steak or seafood, this might be your place.
